How can I get or change the password on my ibook G4? I dont have the start up disk and single user no work?
How can you change the adminitstrator password (or any password) on mac os x? I dont have the startup disk. For some reason, terminal wont open and same thing for single-user mode. Please help me if you know. Also, if theres a way you can just get it to stop asking about the admin password, add that to. THANKS!

Hi there…if you live nearby an Apple Retail Store they will allow you to borrow an OEM disc that came with the iBook to recover/restore your password. Otherwise you will have to contact Apple and purchase a replacement, which I believe is still $10 plus shipping.
