i have this laptop its not bad quick internet access well for me anyway…. but what i really need is a laptop dell d610 car charger so i can watch films listen to music and entertain myself on long journeys have u any idea of where i could get 1????

Well, you can always try Dell and see if they have a car charger. If not, then I would think any local computer shop would carry something like that.

The laptop does not charge batteries, you AC adapter will charge your batteries if a battery is seated in the laptop. If the AC adapter works fine for running the laptop 110V, then your battery has had it. I know because I have this laptop. The top of the line with SXGA 2.1ghz. etc. You need to replace your battery. Go to dell DO NOT BUY A CHEAP BATTERY FROM EBAY. Only a OEM DELL battery. Those cheap batteries are cheap for a reason. Go buy one now, you will be glad you did.

is it a good idea to edit videos on this laptop? if i do edit videos on this i still wont se it as my main computer to edit on, so there wont b much editing done on it.
also is it ok to run at least one or two PC games on this as well?

I mainly use my laptop as a server, and since I haven’t done any video editing or even played any games on the laptop, I wouldn’t be able to tell you for sure. – I guess it doesn’t hurt to try.
