theres no power outlet on the machine without the docking station? how much did it run you fo again? pretty sweet machine

Dock replicates things like power, vga, usb, GigE and modem.
Was lucky to get this puppy for £700 “as-new” on eBay uk. Some scratches on case and no 3G card saved me a few hundred quid over dell new price.

vista works fine on my D420, startup is a a bit slow but once its up and running everything works almost as fast as my desktop

I think it was approx €750 slightly-used on eBay. I’m still using it every day with the only real purchase for it being two spare batteries including an extended one.
