i just was wondering I think yo live in dallas fort worth. if so I would like to make a deal for a ibook G3 clamshell indigo keyboard and maybe also a dvd drive from a graphite model.
Yes, I do live in Fort Worth.. I probably have the keyboard, but not the DVD drive you want.

Ummm.. you could try more RAM. Otherwise, sell the computer to me and get a new Macbook.

how much would you sell me the keyboard for?

can u upgrade the processor to a dual core?
Yes.. The way you do that is to trade the laptop in on a MacBook with a Core Duo inside.

Hi there, I am on my “new” iBook G4. For some reason it does not go to sleep when I close the lid… Do you know why? Also, I would like to mod the color of the Apple logo so what size/type of allen key do I use? Thanks.
The Allen key is usually a 1.5. As for going to sleep, it could be missing the magnet. There is a magnet under the palmrest near the CD-ROM that activates a switch in the LCD.
Ok thanks. Is there a way I can fix the sleeping problem? How could the magnet go missing.. like did it fall out or something?
And where could I get ahold of an allen key that size? How much are they?
Thank you so much for your help!

I am considering purchasing a G4 within the next couple of weeks. It will be my first Mac, so I’m completely new to this. I have seen there are some patches to input so that iLife09 will run & run properly on this model. It’s almost imperitive I find a way for such software to run, but I am on a budget so I can’t afford a real expensive mac. I do however intend on maxing everything out on the one I get. Thank you for your time, your videos are amazingly informative. Keep up the good work.

Why not run an older version like iLife ’08 or ’06? They are almost the same and will run fine.
