		<description>Laptops are small tightly packed units that generate heat.  If you run on batteries the fan goes on and off to save power.  You will always have a fan noise but, if you are running on AC power you can turn the fan on all the time.  I know this doesn&#039;t help but you will get use to it.  If you stop the fan it will alarm out the system and you will also over heat.

Note. If there is a quiet non fan system out there it will cost you a bundle.
