Free Laptop and Notebook Information

has anyone tried linux on dell6000 laptop?

My laptop gives a fuzzy white screen when i tried to install RH 9 / fedora core 3.
Does any one have a solution as how to make graphics work for my Dell laptop (max resoultion wsxga = 1680×1050 resolution)

Intel 915 express chipset without dedicated graphic card..

I am novice to linux

  It’s very difficul to find drivers. You should use VM-ware to use Linux in Windows XP.
