I use a win xp Home laptop. It has a high speed internet service at home with a static IP address and when I use it in the office there is a peer to peer network with a switch what uses automatic IP settings. How can I use it without retyping the IP addresses everytime new.

set up 2 connections, run the connection wizard, the 2nd connection will be set to DHCP ( letting the router assgin the ips ), you simply disable the 1st ( Fixed IP ) connection and enable the 2nd, When you go back home the porcess is reversed.
