How can i install Windows XP on a laptop currently running linux?
It has no floppy drive and an external usb cdrom drive that it cant boot from.
I currently have internet access via a wireless card.

You could try to resize your linux partion, so you can create a small (1GB) bootable dos partition. Then you copy your Windows Setup to this Partion and boot from it.

First of all, make a partition using the fdisk command to hold the the stuff. I would recommend a partition of around 4-5 Gb, of the vfat file system format. Then, make changes in your bios to boot using your external cdrom. Just boot using the cd and you would be able to install XP. Since you are keeping linux on the system, use the Fat32 format for your XP partition, as it is more compatible to Linux.
