how do i transfer my music files from my desktop computer, which has crashed, to my laptop?

I got the fatal blue screen and was told that I need to wipe out everything and reload windows…but I dont want to lose all my music!!

You can do a number of things.
1. Slave the old hard drive to a computer and transfer the files through network to your laptop.
2. buy a external hard drive case that you can put your hard drive in and connect it to your laptop and transfer your files.
3. PC Relocator program will work.
