sorry about the wait but i finally have my review of my ibook up. i got it off of ebay for about 0 its a really amazing computer! here are the specs. version 10.4.11 (mac os tiger) processor 1.33 ghz powerpc g4 memory 1.5 gb ddr sdram hard drive 40 gb by the way all the specs on it are all maxed out besides the hardrive i dont know how big that can be. sorry if i left out some things but i was trying to show u as much as i could before the dumb time limit. basically if ur looking to get a …

That was the best review I saw of the iBook G4. I wanted to see how the Internet and YouTube run on this and no other vid had it but this vid. You covered everything I was looking for. Now I know I will get this.

I agree with the Coaster Crazy person, this is a really good review. I had been a little worried about the speed of an iBook, but now I’m pretty sure it would be a good computer for me, and I’ll problebly buy one.

heyy bud, im strapped for cash lately but im still after buyin a mac, so is the ibook g4 any good?
i mean like runnin apps such as garageband, imovie, or simply just browsing web etc watch movies

i know what you mean i really wanted a mac but there too expensive, and since im only 15 i dont have a lot of money which is why i got the ibook.
yes it runs applications very good. i havent tried garageband yet but imovie and iphoto run just like they would on a mac. and as u can see from the video it surfs the web very fast!
so if you want a mac then this is what you should go for
they usually run for about $200-$350 dollars on ebay.

I have an ibook g4 1.42ghz 1.5gb of ram I’m running leopard on it, but I think it ran smoother in tiger. In leopard I disabled dashboard in terminal and now it runs almost like tiger. The only reason I run leopard is for use of newer software like ilife 09. I can’t recommend it for video editing, or photo retouching. But I use it for office 07, itunes, web browsing, watching movies, chatting, burning cd & dvds, using dreamweaver, and even music editing. Overall I must say I am impressed.

i agree with you on the keyboard, i was using a macbook the other day at the apple store and im not used to have all the buttons seperated. Would you recommend an ibook for a first apple computer????

yes this is a great computer i would recommend the G4 as ur first mac computer but not any of the older ibooks.

Heyy budd, im considering buying the obook myself. you mentioned editing music there, will garageband or logic pro work on the ibook g4?
and which ilife would you recommend?
