E-Bay is probably your best friend. It really depends on how much you are willing to spend. I use a 12″ powerbook for mail and surfing when I am in front of the TV or on the road. You can not go wrong!

If you just need to browse the web and do some email then you won’t need the latest and greatest technology out there. I would still recommend you still get a new laptop since the prices are dropping quickly and you can get a lot for your money. Wal-Mart has a Toshiba for $697, which comes with a 1.6 GHz and 512 MB RAM. That should be plenty for what your wanting to use it for.
