It depends on what you need to use it for. If you don’t travel and do everything at home then I’d say a desktop. If you travel and need to take it with you places then I’d say a laptop.
i would say laptop.
with laptop u don’t need to sit beside a table, u can sit on the couch or bed and keep working. and if u have wireless network u can access internet any where in the building.

a laptop… you can bring it places… but this advantage is also a disadvantage… it can be stolen easier
