I need boot up software for my VERY “sick” laptop…?
I have a Toshiba Satellite M36 which is in a world of hurts. It boots up, shuts down, as though in a loop. I’m thinking if I could get a boot disk for it, perhaps I could repair it. Does anyone know of a download center, or if I’m even heading in the right direction?

Well, if it boots up atleast to the BIOS then you can make it boot from the CD drive.
Then you can just use your OS disc to boot and repair your OS off of the boot.
Your laptop, depending on how old it is should have come with a Windows something CD.

Many of the Toshiba Satellite series have a “defective” BIOS setting that causes them shut down unexpectedly. I haven’t been able to confirm it on the M36, but the M35 does have this affliction. (Actually, I haven’t found -anything- concerning an M36 – are you sure this is the right model number?)
