why does using my scanner clog up my memory and cause my computer to crash?
When I use my Cannon scanner with my Dell laptop I can scan about 13 images before the computer crashes and won’t allow any more scans.
My standard specs for scanning are:
Tiff file type
300 dpi resolution
output = 8 inches wide
greyscale
I alwaysI have to reboot. I have deleted the temporary internet files and done a disk clean up (Windows XP), but it still will crash.
Are there other settings I can use on the computer so it doesn’t hold on to the temporary files?
Is that what’s making it crash?
How do I restore Windows XP?
…Without using System Restore? I want to return my comoputer back to its original state when I received it, and I don’t have a system restore date for it. I’m running a Dell Laptop, the Inspiron 6000 and it didn’t come with a Restore CD. So what can I do?
For once I am missing my Windows Me.
What’s the best all-in-one printer for a Macbook?
I ordered an Apple Macbook a couple of days ago from Apple’s online store. Well I didn’t know that to get the free (or discounted) printer, I had to get it at the same time as the laptop so both items are on the same receipt.
I went to the Apple store at the mall yesterday and the sales rep told me that for me to get the free printer, I would have to pretty much refund my Macbook and have them re-sell it on the floor. The only problem with that is that it is customized and I added more memory and speed so it will be an even harder process for them to take it back.
So now I am just going to buy a printer. I want to know what is the best all-in-one printer that will be compatible with the Macbook and also my old Dell since I am keeping it. I want something for every day printing as well as something that will print good quality color pictures. I am going to be using it mostly for college. Thank you!!!
I’m seeing that a lot of you recommend Epson. I looked up the Epson Stylus Photo RX700 and wow, it’s pricey! On sale right now for $229.99 with a regular price of $399.99! This is the type of all-in-one printer I am definitely looking for! Now I want to ask, are there any other printers out there that are Mac compatible for a lower price than the Epson one? I just spent over $2,000 on my Macbook and accessories so I want to “try” to get the best deal for my money.
If there aren’t any other printers that have the same features as the Epson one (I like how it can print directly onto CD’s/DVD’s) then I guess I’m stuck getting that one.
Anyone know of any other good, lower costing all-in-one printers? Thanks.
Does anyone here have a Built-in Webcam in a Laptop? Are those good in quality?
And who offers laptops like those? I mean Dell, HP or whatever.
Laptop Help!! (any help is appreciated)?
I’ve been saving for a laptop for about 3 years, and I finally have about $1,300 to spend. I would like to get a really good laptop and hopefully a printer, too. If anyone has any advice on which brand or specific laptop to get, I would really appreciate it. I’ve been looking into Dell Laptops the most, but I really don’t know whats the best. Even if you’re not an expert, but you have a laptop that you really like, please tell me. Thanks so much!
