baught g3 ibook and i want to make it wireless whats the difference between an airport card and wireless card?

I want to get onto the internet wirelessly. I dont have an airport
but I get signal from a thing called “netgear”. How do I get on. I have a IBook G4 and a Mac OS X

i am flying soon, and I was wondering if there are outlets in waiting areas so that I could pump up my PDA and iPod.

How do you install the airport wireless internet card in a mac ibook G3? And, is it possible to install another brand of wireless internet card in this particualr computer?

i have an iBook g4 running osx10.4 with an airport card and i have a powerbook g3 running mac osx 10.2 with basic ethernet, i want to know– if i have a live wireless connection can i plug ethernet from the g4 to g3 can i get internet on both?, or if i cant get internet can i run a network to share files between the two? –much thanks to the person with a good answer (no pc people that like to heckle mac people—u know nothing of our race)
