i cant see other peoples webcam, share photos or play games on yahoo. any help out there?

when i connect my dell to the charger, the battery icon starts blinking in orange a few times and then blinks green once. this goes on and on. when i switch the laptop on, it says that it is on AC power and there is 0% power in the battery. when i remove the cord while the laptop is on, it turns off. is this because there is low voltage or something? or is my battery damaged?

My parents gave me a brand new laptop last month. It’s a Dell Latitude d510. I searched online and the market price for it is over $1,000. What do you think the estimate price I can get from a pawn shop? Since college is starting in a month, I really need the extra cash for books and stuff. I was thinking of using the money to buy a cheaper, older version and used the rest for books.
