Disk Drive not working on Dell laptop?
I have a 600m Dell Laptop, recently the disk drives (D and E) have stopped recognizing CDs and DVDs. They are enabled, and I can hear the computer try to spin the disc. I don’t know if its a problem with the actual drive or just some software malfunction. I have tried downloading the drivers off the Dell site and it did not seem to work.
I would appreciate any help and please use details as I am not computer savy. Thanks.
Dell will not help me because my warranty expired over a month ago. It didn’t help cleaning the lense.

Reinstalling XP on a Fujitsu Tablet PC?
I can’t find my restore disk for my Fujitsu tablet pc. Can I just use a regular XP disc to reformat it, or is there a special XP tablet version that I must use?

My iBook G3 just a few days ago froze on me while trying 2 upgrade my system frm 13 to 13.9. now it wont start
I activated the Mac software update 2 days ago in order to upgrade my iTunes, Mac software, etc. after it seemed everything had been installed, the computer froze when it said that it was maximizing the available space on the disk, or something like that. I shut down the computer by holding down the power button, and when I turned the computer back on, all I saw was a blank grey screen. I’m not sure what happened, but I called Apple Technical Support, and they said I needed a Mac OSX Install/Utility Disk to fix the problem, something I don’t have.
If anybody out there, could you please send a Mac OSX Install disk to:

I have a tc1100. I tried to install the drivers from the recovery cd and it shut down and remains shut down.
I need to reformat my tablet pc, so once I got my disks I did so. I tried to install the drivers off of the driver recovery disk and it shut down and hasn’t been working since. Now when I turn it on the light on the on switch lights up, but nothing happens. The chrging light comes on when I plug the AC plug in, but nothing else.
