Anybody interested in a Sahara i440d Tablet PC great for school? Or suggestions on how to sell it?

I just don’t want this great Tablet to go to waste- I’ve posted this on Tablet PC forums and craigslist. Does anybody else have suggestions for selling it?
Where can I buy dvd/cd drives for my tablet pc?
If this helps, I have a fujitsu T4220. There’s a little lever that allows me to pop out the drive at will.
Installed new hard drive and now having trouble installing MAC 0S X?
I recently put a new hard drive in my G4 Ibook.
Now I go to install MAc OS 10.4 by inserting the CD and holding down the “C” key upon start up.
The apple comes up however shortly after this I get a “Kernel Panic” and the screen says something about Power book 6.5 and driver error of some sort.
What should I do???
Please help! Thanks!!!
It is a MacBook CD that was my sisters, it’s also scratched. I was finguring that is the problem but I wasn’t sure.
I got my guide to take the computer apart from Ifixit and I don’t think the reassembly is the problem.
The hard drive was a brand new SEALED 80 GB Hitachi/ IBM travelstar for a G4 Ibook.
I am going to purchase system software tomorrow and hopefully that will help.
No, I have not partitioned the hard drive I didn’t think I would have to considering it was brand new.
Very Sluggish Laptop?
I have a relatively new laptop, which is a Gateway M275 Tablet PC, 40 GB hard drive, 512 MB of RAM.
It originally came with Windows XP Tablet PC edition. But of course, I wanted to upgrade, so I got Windows Vista Ultimate, and I think it is great. On top of that, I got Microsoft Office 2007 to boot.
However, my computer has been SO slow, it is horrible. If I need to get work done in a hurry, it takes FOREVER. I keep getting programs that don’t respond, laptop freezes for two minutes, then unfreezes again, etc. It’s horrible.
I have recently purchased a 2 GB ReadyBoost flash drive, and has seem to help a bit, but doesn’t cut the cake too much.
Is there ANY way I can speed up my system? I try to close as many applications as I need to, and it still doesn’t help. I don’t want to buy anything else for my laptop, because I have already spent a fortune. Free software? Tweaks? Anything?
I appreciate all help! It’s driving me crazy! Thanks so much!!! ![]()
I really don’t want to switch operating systems again, for the money I have spent, and I have talked to a Gateway represenative and they told me that my laptop will be able to handle Vista, as long as I update my RAM, which I bought ReadyBoost. I love my laptop, and don’t want to get another one either.
Just need a good boost without spending any money!
