how do I reset my dvd player on my laptop?
I have an Averatec 3200 series laptop. The CDRW works fine, but will not recognize DVD’s. I bought it second hand and there is no warranty. I think I just need to update the firmware, but can’t find any site that supports this. What can I do besides replace the drive (which with laptops is a pain) or get an external drive?

how do i burn dvds on my ibook?
I was told it had a DVD burner, but can’t figure out where or how. I have iDVD and iMOVIE HD. Someone please help me. It’s driving me crazy!!!!
