i have a Apple iBook G3 500Mhz and im not sure if i need a new fan or not because the fan doesent change speeds when the processer is doing more and heating up more. so i went on ebay and looked for new ones and there like 3 bucks so i wouldent care if i had to buy a new one.
how much faster is PPC than intel?
I just bought a used iBook on eBay, and I’ve heard that a PPC (power PC) processor is twice as fast as an intel, is that true?
I have a 900MHz PPC, if that is true, than it should be equal to a 1.8GHz Intel, right?
