i have a graphire3 tablet that i’ve had for a few years and i just plugged it into my macbook to use with photoshop. for the most part it works, but certain features, like the settings that can be controlled by pen pressure aren’t working. i’m not quite sure what it’s called, but the feature that makes the corners of your tablet match with the corners of your screen so if you pick up your pen and put it back down on the other side of the tablet the cursor follows….that doesn’t work either.
i had no problems with my tablet on a windows pc, but i can’t figure this out. i tried installing drivers on my mac, but it won’t let me. it starts to open the installer in the dock but then it goes away.

if anyone has any advice i’d appreciate it. also, please don’t answer if you’re just going to say you don’t know.

All the other PDA and cell phones have a camera feature…it seems like it anyway.

I dont need the phone feature (I have a brand new cell phone) and the mp3 isnt really necessary (I have a mini ipod) but it would be a cool feature to have built in. The one that I’m really considering is the Palm TX. Thoughts on this one?And, the price range should be around 300 or less(The maximum i’ll pay for one is 400 or 450)

I am interesting in getting a PDA, it doesn’t have to be brand new or top of the line, just something with a touch screen/stylus combo ideally, and a nice screen that can use a lot of software. Some of the models I’m looking at are

Siemens SX66
Palm Treo 650
HP iPaq 6315

I want a device that I can buy for about 400 dollars or less without a contract, used/refurbished is ok, unlocked is ideal (GSM only). What would you recommend?

After using the drag and drop feature with Yahoo Mail Beta, I receive the following error…

The instruction at “0x77279afb” referenced memory at “0x7dc48950″. The memory could not be “read”. Click OK to terminate the program.

I have searched yahoo, google, microsoft support without any luck. I’m using a Dell Inspiron e1505 laptop with Intel Centrino Core Duo 2.0 Ghz (T2500), 2GB of PC2-5300 RAM, 100Gb 7200 rpm HDD, and ATI X1400 graphics card. The event viewer never shows an error logged. It only happens when I drag and drop messages in Yahoo Mail Beta. Thanks for any help…
