I have been wanting to buy a gaming laptop for awhile now. It doesn’t matter the price, but i want a good one. I have been looking at the Alienware m9700. It has dual GeForce Go 7900 GS 256MB. It also has a AMD Turion mobile processor at 2.0 Ghz. From what i heard is that it is made by the best gaming company. I’m not fully convinced about this since i also heard that Dell is good also. If anything else is better than either Dell or Alienware, i would like to know. Thanks.

My laptop(Dell Latitude C840)’s graphics card is messed up. It makes vertical streaks when I set the resolution too high. So I got a replacement card off of Ebay. It is the same card (Geforce4 440 Go 32MB). I put it into my laptop, and got it connected to my monitor and properly seated the card. When I turned on my laptop, the monitor won’t even come on. What’s wrong? Is the new card defective? Or is there software or something that I have to install first?
When I put back the old card, the monitor works again but has the same problems with the vertical streaks at high resolutions.

It’s not too hard to get to the graphics card. You just have to take out the keyboard and some screws. The card is just right under the keyboard.

Playing New Super Mario Bros Wii on Sony Vaio VPCCW22FX P laptop intel Core i3 Nvidia GeForce GT 330M I don’t know why it’s skipping in the video it wasn’t doing that when I was playing the game. Side Note: I had to hook my webcam up to my shirt collar to record lol and I didn’t know all the right keys when I was playing and I was looking back at my laptop from time to time to make sure I had the cam in the right place. so I couldn’t play too good.
