One of my friends started screwing around with my Mac Ibook G4 and now every time i start up or want to install anything new, i need to enter my password.

Specifically: how do I eliminate this from happening? I’ve already tried deleting the password in the System Preferences > Users (it tells me first that anyone could access my computer, and then it tells me my password is too short and i need to set a new one); and i’ve also tried fiddling with the whole automatic login option, to no avail.

I’m not too literate on Mac, as you can plainly see, but i think that i’ve tried just about every option on every menu in the system.

Any ideas?

internet explorer used to work for yahoo chatrooms, but know it does not. Safari never worked when i used it. can someone give me an easy plug and play type of explanation of how i can start chatting again in yahoo rooms. I would greatly appreciate it.

In Yahoo Instant Messenger, me and my gf (in another country) used to visit each other via our webcams. Now, for some weird reason, when she invites me to view her webcam, Yahoo says she “does not have webcam online”, which, of course isn’t true. And when I can view her webcam, she suddenly can’t view mine. What’s going on?? Is this a new problem with Apple computers, or is there some new feud between Yahoo and Apple? Or is this a problem I can solve by downloading something? By the way, my brand new iBook G4 is having the exact same difficulties. I’m very perplexed.
