I have a 1st gen iPod shuffle which I usually charge on my iBook G4… Yesterday I at my friends house and needed a charge so we plugged it into his PC – actually into a new flat moniter (USB directly into it) he found in a dumpster. SOooooo It’s charging it’s charging la la la and I guess suddenly everything started crapping out. After a while he re-started it in at it’s last known working cond…and then as I’m getting ready to leave he is trying to show me that “look, norton anti-vir already has found 1100 problems” and he is claiming that the iPod must have infected his computer.

Is this even possible? – I mean it’s a flipping flash drive.

Also as I am at college I do have some music of “questionable origin” coming from many many different computers. And he uses LimeWire so…

I have a iPod shuffle, and a iPod Videdo 30gb. The comp. I first used with them is a Dell PC, and now I am trying to use my iBook with iTunes and my iPods. Its not workng!! So…I was wondering if its possibul to use the apple iBook insted of my windows….even though I started with my Dell
And…when i plug ether iPod in to the iBook, the iPod says do not dissconnect, and the iBook Freezes

I love Mac products (i have an ipod, shuffle and nano) but I want to know if it’s worth buying a 2.0 Ghz 13-inch Mac Book cuz i’m going to buy a laptop, and I really love the design of the new ibook, but I also like the VAIO’s looks

but i have all my life used windows OS and I`m not sure if it would be a good idea to chage drastically of OS with mac (i tend to use this laptop for everything, house, school, etc.)

so please guys help out here!!

well, im going on a trip with my ipod shuffle. since i have a dell desktop, and an ibook g4, (the dell is the default), could i still charge the ipod on the ibook?
