I would like to know if a vga monitor, keyboard or mouse can be connected directly to a pda? Windows Mobile, or Palm Device.

I am getting a slate-style tablet PC and have a few questions:

1. Is using a stylus the only option for control or can you use your finger to operate the touch screen?

2. If you can use your fingers on the touch screen, do any tablet PCs offer an onscreen keyboard that can be typed on with your fingers as if you were typing at a normal computer?

I’d be very interested to know brands, models, programs, etc that offer this functionality. I am not interested in the convertable-style (with flipable screen) tablet laptop, it has to be slate-style for what I need it for.

Will the Ipad 2nd gen have a bigger screen for typing- that it is the size of keyboard. Or what about a stylus?

Does anyone know where to find downloadable keyboards for the mobile phone/pda program popontop (turns a touchpad screen into a programmable keypad). There used to be a forum here.

How much will the ipad keyboard stand cost?

Will speakers be compatible with the ipad?
