kitty question?

my kitty is strictly indoors. he likes to sleep on laptop computers because of the warmth they give. this would be fine except the computers overheat and shut down…and now they’re very messed up and wont turn on, then only stay on for a few minutes. any suggestions on how to get him to stay off? he has plenty of other places to sleep, bed, couches, blankets, laps… help anyone?

What is the best deal right now on laptop computers? January 2006,?

Cost should be around $700 or less, I consider this to be mid-priced. Usage is mostly email and light business work at home and on the go. From experience, the best deals I’ve seen are after Thanksgiving, but I can’t wait till November of this year. Thanks for all the input.
