dell latitude cpi with windows xp up for sale asking $400 for it. it
also has microsoft office and comes with: power cord, CD-R, good
battery, 56k global modem, a network card, a belkin internet adapter
cord, a mini mouse, carying case with zippers and pockets. i do have
pics for it. i am only willing to go down to $300 and i need to sell it ASAP!!!!

What will be the backup time for DELL Laptops? My Model is Latitude C-610. Can you please provide details?

I have a Dell latitude 110L Laptop. Intel(R) Pentium (R) M Processor 1.70GHz 1.70 GHz, 504 MB of Ram. I am Going to install Suse Linux Professional 9.2 on it. (Whitch I have done in the past.) I know nothing about linux exept that its more stable then windows. There are only 2 problems, or questions that i have. first, How can I use my wireless card inside my laptop with linux, someone said something to me about a program called Wrapper, or something similar to that. I tried downloading it but the other problem Im having is this; I dont know how to install anything on linux. Like i said i no nothing about linux. people say the power of linux is in the SHELL itself. If i only new how to install programs on linux i would be fine. for example i download a chat client or game, I need to know exactly what steps to take. not this “CD this to Cd that” I dont even know what that means. so if any of you know how to help me id appritiate it alot. or a website that explains it in simple english.

I bought a used dell latitude laptop, but it didn’t come with any user guides. I noticed a function key and so far it only works with the suspend key. It won’t work for volume or display brightness. It worked when I used it the first few times. I must have hit a button that made it stop working. Can any one tell me what I might have done to my keyboard?
Also, the track stick in the middle of the keyboard, I’m suppose to be able to just tap it and it recognize that as a click, it worked the first few times, now the tapping doesn’t work.

Another thing, I went into the keyboard set up to try to setup my Dell AccessDirect Key, but when I go into keyboard setup there is no Dell AcccessDirect Key.

What should I do? Could it be that Windows XP is not recognizing the correct keyboard or track stick? Should I try to reinstall a driver for the keyboard, if so , how?

I’ve got a dell latitude C600 – purchased a 256mb pc100 chip but after I installed it, the laptop doesn’t recognize it. Any idea’s?
It had 256mb to start, and dell.com to be sure it was the right kind before I bought it.
