i have a graphire3 tablet that i’ve had for a few years and i just plugged it into my macbook to use with photoshop. for the most part it works, but certain features, like the settings that can be controlled by pen pressure aren’t working. i’m not quite sure what it’s called, but the feature that makes the corners of your tablet match with the corners of your screen so if you pick up your pen and put it back down on the other side of the tablet the cursor follows….that doesn’t work either.
i had no problems with my tablet on a windows pc, but i can’t figure this out. i tried installing drivers on my mac, but it won’t let me. it starts to open the installer in the dock but then it goes away.

if anyone has any advice i’d appreciate it. also, please don’t answer if you’re just going to say you don’t know.

Hi I am in the market to buy a Mac. Do you guys know if apple wil make a 2010 edition? Or does apple have a one time event every year if that cause then I will go buy the macbook 2009 edition becuase apple let the ipad to come. And it’s going to come latest in june. So..thanks (in advance)

Ok, here’s the deelio, my iBook has nothing saying about system preferences like it should. I had an iBook last year, and when i clicked the apple in the left corners, it says: About this Mac, Software Update…, Mac OS X Software…, Dock, Location, Recent Items, Force Quit…, Sleep, Restart…, Shut Down…, and Log Out. Where’s the system preferences?!?! HELP!

I recently put a new hard drive in my G4 Ibook.
Now I go to install MAc OS 10.4 by inserting the CD and holding down the “C” key upon start up.
The apple comes up however shortly after this I get a “Kernel Panic” and the screen says something about Power book 6.5 and driver error of some sort.
What should I do???

It is a MacBook CD that was my sisters, it’s also scratched. I was finguring that is the problem but I wasn’t sure.
I got my guide to take the computer apart from Ifixit and I don’t think the reassembly is the problem.

The hard drive was a brand new SEALED 80 GB Hitachi/ IBM travelstar for a G4 Ibook.

I am going to purchase system software tomorrow and hopefully that will help.
No, I have not partitioned the hard drive I didn’t think I would have to considering it was brand new.

how can i make a copy of mac osx tiger from a pc becouse my ibook does not have a dvd reader and i need cd?
