Yesterday, i replaced my iBook G4 LCD. When I turned it on, it didn’t boot up the normal way. It’s like 1 minute black screen and after that, log in window appears.

I want to see the gray apple logo and the spinning wheel, again!

Anyone can help? Since I’m far away from the apple center.

I personally hate anything mac, but at first glance it looked really cool. I pushed aside my haterid for a minute to actually think of the uses of this – i found nothing that a netbook couldn’t do better. Its generally an oversized iTouch and therefore i see as completely pointless, illogical and a waste of money.

What do u think?

I’m working on a MAC iBook G4 and was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the on-board memory. The computer is really slow and it’s getting worse by the minute. I purchased an additional 512mb, but I’m still getting the same slow process problem. If I can disable the on-board memory I can see if it is a memory problem or not. Any help is appreciated.

I am selling my domain name and web site for someone’s laptop and $500 (to be paid in two equal payments). I’m writing up a little contract, nothing too fancy but nothing dorky either. I think mine is dorky.

Can anyone help me fix it? Any suggestions?

Do I need to replace my keyboard? Its so stron the minute it opens up…I am truly embarassed.
Some say it is the glue on the underside of the keyboard. Whatever it is, it is pretty strong. Is there anything I can spray on there that will rid the keyboard of that awful smell?
