hi, i have posted a few wanted ads in local classifieds and i have had a few emails come back, the only one i can really afford or is worth it is a Gateway CX210S, it is a tablet pc and i was wondering if someone could find me the specs on it. Also, which laptop would be better for doing web surfing and normal college stuff like internet, word, works, excel, etc…

The guy wants $500 for the Cx210s and i think i can get the MT3418 for $400 with microsoft word.
The Mt has vista and the Cx has Xp. Both are used.
The cx was bought two months ago and had some problems. they had the motherboard, harddrive and a few other things replaced under warranty and they just got it back yesterday.

Which laptop is better for my needs?

There are some disappointment regarding iPad. Will you buy HP Slate to replace notebook if it is better than iPad?

I’m really interested in buying one of these but I want to be sure that i’m getting the most for my money. Are there any problems with the sound, screen, graphics, or anything? Is it easy to draw on? Is it slower in any way than a regular notebook? Does vista run well on it? Are there any programs that someone could recommend putting on it or warn against putting on it? I want to get as much feedback as possible from people who’ve had experience with a tablet notebook and especially I want to know if anything goes wrong with them after a while and if any difficulties arise. Thanks!

I need a laptop for travel and for music and e-mail, when I’m not wanting to sit at my computer desk. I use my desktop most of the time, but want something mid-priced that isn’t dog-slow and has a good stereo sound for music. Just received my Dell InspironB130, and I hate it. The Dell guy convinced me on the phone that this would be perfect for me. Dog-slow and bad sound. Recommendations would be appreciated so I can send this thing back. I can’t buy the high-end, but I still want something that won’t be wasting my dollars. I have had a Dimension 8300 for 3 years that has spoiled me for great quality. Thanks!
I prefer to stay with Dell. I’ve had Mac and Acer. And the last 3 desktops have been Dell, and that’s what I like best.
