I use it for powerpoint presentations–no game use–I travel a lot, hence lightness is important. Thanks.

I am mainly a Windows user that mainly uses my current laptop for school stuff: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
I do a little programming with Java but more with PHP and MySQL.
I do not play video games.
I have not edited video and I rarely edit sound but I do edit pictures a little.

I want a tablet PC, a DVD, bluetooth, and wireless Internet access. I am still undecided about Windows XP or Vista.

What would you suggest?

i need usb, wifi, bluetooth, and the ability to edit word, excel and view powerpoint. also i want to synch my outlook calander with my pda.
I plan to use it when i go out on in the field and i dont plan on getting a smartphone unless it can do all this stuff.
i have cingular, but again i am not planning on getting a smartphone.
last thing is i really wanted to do voice recording. I do alot of interviews for my job and instead of using a second voice recorder i could save it in my pda.

and its due tommorow for school,

Is there any possible way I would be able to retrieve the file?

and if so how?

can you install and run windows office programs (word, excel, powerpoint, etc) at a mac ibook?
