voice recognition… I have it, but how do I use it?
I have an hp tablet pc tc1100, kind of a rarer model of computer, (I hate how people think that tablet means pda, and I lost the stylus pen years ago and the tablet functions of it weren’t that great to begin with.) but anyways, I just tried using the voice recognition feature. I did every training exercise there was, but now my question is… what next??? Can I dictate to my computer and get it to type for me, and how exactly do I do that? (It’s hard to find information on that)
p.s. My computer doesn’t have a c.d. drive and it doesn’t have the microsoft office suite (it got heavily reimaged when it was sent in to get repaired). So basically if you have software suggestions, suggest cheap free downloadable things if you can. Thanks!
Wacom tablet and microsoft office?
How can I use my wacom tablet with Microsoft Office 2007? I’d like to be able to play around with OneNote’s handwriting recognition abilities. I’ve googled around, trying to get it to work, but it seems that, unless I have a tablet PC, I can’t get it working.
I’m using XP, by the way.
What is the best PDA out there for basic use?
I am looking for a PDA with basic functions, i.e. calendar, addresses, etc., but I also want MP3 capability, photos, and handwriting recognition. What is the best out there without spending a fortune?
can anybody help me?
eversince I rebooted my averatec C3500 tablet pc, my pen does not work along with the digital keyboard and voice recognition, i tried downloading it from the averatec website but my computer says i already have it instalded. What do I do?
Can fingerprint security on a computer or flash drive be cracked? How secure is it?
Some laptops, for instance from Dell, and some PDAs, and some flash drives (such as SanDisk Profile) have a built in fingerprint recognition for security. Can this be hacked? Could a motivated civilian computer geek do it? or would it take heavy-duty resources like FBI or NSA to do so? I keep mildly sensitive files on my flash drive and want to keep these safe if I lose the flash drive. I am computer-challenged and know zilch about security. Any thoughts?
