On my PDA (it is an ipaq H6315) when I use a picture for the background wallpaper, it is all washed out looking. How can I fix this? Also, is there any way to change the overal display to a horizontal setup as opposed to the standard vertical one? So that the text and everything is sideways, and you hold the PDA sideways to use.

trying to install new hardrive but computer not seeing it.

The bar at the bottom of the screen will load up all the way, and then freeze. I can’t get into setup or boot menu either.

I don’t have a lot of money to work with and I have a computer now, but it doesn’t have a lot of power. What can you suggest for a person on a budget looking to do more freelance graphic design as far as computer, scanner, tablet, etc. What does one really need? I have been working on a PC.

Part two, is it possible to do good graphic design using a laptop computer? I share a room with my baby and computer and would like to be able to have a portable computer if he’s sleeping and I need to work, but I also want to be successful. If a laptop doesn’t produce good quality work than I want what will do the best job. Ideas?
I have Adobe CS and the software I need, just seeking advice on computer/etc, what’s needed as a freelancer )

I feel that I really need a tablet PC to get some of my illustration work done because I’m always on the go or watching the kids away from my main computer. Is a Gateway tablet pc (not Wacom-based) adequate? I’ve got a Wacom graphic tablet that I’m using with a portable laptop but that whole setup ‘ain’t very portable’, if you know what I mean.
