This was a very important option, and I really want it back, as I am pretty new to my new Dell notebook,I am just learning and I know I’m going to make some mistakes please help me if you can, I’m also not sure if its a software or hardware problem?

I have McAfee installed on two XP computers (separate subscription and email address for each) and am adding a Win2000Pro notebook to my home network. McAfee wants to charge me for a third package assigned with a different, third, email address. Is there good antivirus software that can be purchased once for use on multiple computers, or is there some other solution? Second question: What is the best/easiest way to ‘clean’ a pc of all visited web sites, downloaded files, etc? Is deleting cookies and temps good enough?

where can i get the dvd drive software for the IBM laptop 600 e series?

My hard drive is victim to a terrible virus that not even norton could fix. This has happened before and I’ve had to clear the hard drive, only I cannot remember how. What should I do? I recall that, after clearing it, I had to install drivers from the dell website (I have a dell inspiron 1100). Which ones do I need? I also have the CD’s that came with the laptop… they say “Mircrosoft Windows XP Home Edition”, “For Reinstalling Dell Inspiron System Software”, “For Reinstalling Dell Tools System Software,”For Resinstalling Sonic Record Now”. I also have a wireless router that I will need to reinstall before taking anything from the internet. How do I go about celaring my hard drive and getting it back how it should be? What order to I reinstall all these products? Do I really need the drivers from the site? PLEASE HELP!
