Can a Toshiba Portege 3500 be repaired and restored to its original state?
Before you answer-You need to know that, I had sent it to a technician abroad and it was brought back without being repaired. The problem is, the OS tablet edition was lost when someone “erroneously” reinstalled WIN XP Prof edition over it. We could not roll back. The tablet pc is now behaving like any ordinary notebook. Toshiba has not responded to my plea for help. I think it has to do with my location, which is in Africa where there is no reliable technical support (poor us). Any body with ideas, please. I was beginning to enjoy my tablet. Note: the recovery cds did not help at all and I dont have the original tablet OS cd.
