I purchased the Lenovo X61 tablet PC about 4 months ago. It crashed frequently. I discussed the problem with their tech support reps and sent it in. It continued to crash. I continued to send it back to them, three times.It still frequently crashed. I got it replaced under warranty and now have a new one. It still crashes. Logic would indicate it is something I am doing, but I have no idea what. I understand computers, I used to be a computer science major even.

I am running Windows Vista, I have installed as many updates as I can find, I don’t install any malacious software or use P2P sites.
It seems to randomly crash. It has crashed so far when I was on the internet checking Email, working on a Paper in word and looking at some notes in powerpoint.
The crashes consist of the little “loading” circle replacing the cursor and I am unable to manipulate the screen. The keyboard has no effect. It’s like the computer is dead until I hold down the power button to restart. PLEASE HELP!

I’m really unorganized with my paper notes (high school), so I’d like to start integrating tech to organize myself. I don’t really like typing, so is there some way I can handwrite notes and get them on to a computer. (Such as a Tablet PC, one of those weird Pen things, ect…)

I hadn’t used it since early June when I had no problems. It was not connected to anything during this time. Power shows 100 %. I tried both upper and lower cases. Talked to tech support – tried holding down Ctrl and tapping the F 7 key as I turned on power – later tried another F key…….nope. Dell thought I might have picked up “something” the last time I used it in June. They think I might be able to wipe it clean by doing a reinstallation – but I would then lose everything I had on the computer …. Any advice (other than, next time don’t buy this make of computer) ? i have been saving up along time to buy a game system, i love electronics, i was gonna buy a ps3 i love all it can do , but now i heard about the i-pad and that is a really awesome piece of tech. i just dont know
ok i understand those anwsers but the ipad has maps youtube and it is easliy portable please go in to detail, explain y or y not
