after the virus attack i overwrite windows xp. after the installation the speed of system became slow. It takes time even to open a folder. The videos when played in media player and other players, strucks a lot. Pls help me on this regard.
im using the broaband connection.

One of my friends started screwing around with my Mac Ibook G4 and now every time i start up or want to install anything new, i need to enter my password.

Specifically: how do I eliminate this from happening? I’ve already tried deleting the password in the System Preferences > Users (it tells me first that anyone could access my computer, and then it tells me my password is too short and i need to set a new one); and i’ve also tried fiddling with the whole automatic login option, to no avail.

I’m not too literate on Mac, as you can plainly see, but i think that i’ve tried just about every option on every menu in the system.

Any ideas?

i just want to find out how do i connect both my laptop and desktop computer so that both can get on the internet, even at the same time, what do i need to get?

I generally leave my PSP and iBook in sleep mode when I’m not using it. Is the same okay for the DS, even if I don’t use it for days at a time? The constant blinking light seems a bit annoying.

My laptop hasn’t worked for over a year. I was told the ports were possibly burned out since I used to plug it into the wall AND use the battery at the same time, can this be fixed or would it just be better for me to get a new laptop?
