Hello, I have Dell Latitude D600 laptop and have a problem with it.

USB devices aren’t working propertly when charger is plugged in and rarely when it is unplugged. For example my USB mouse can move around 10-15 seconds, then stop for 2 or 3 sec and cursor continue moving. If I run Windows I hear sound notification that device is disconnected and sound notification that device is connected after 2-3 seconds again.

It is not looking like Windows problem, because I have same issue under Linux.

I have USB power hub from google.
It works almost OK with it, but only for one device probably.

How can I know does USB hub powered or no?

1) Yes, I have latest BIOS version
2) All devices – can’t be mouse problem, because work is depending on hub & charger plugged in/out.
3) No, no other devices.
4) Tried, no luck.
5) Will do, if will find solution.
6) Same under Linux & Windows

The problem here is that my desktop is Windows and my laptop is Apple- – also…there’s only wireless in the house so I need to connect to the internet through my laptop. I have a USB cable but for some reason- – I don’t know if that’ll work or not. *shrug* I figured I’d try.

Thanks for answering. No S-port on pc, but is there a reason why the firewire port wouldn’t work too? Also, do I just need a cable or will I need some extra hardware too?

How do I know if I need to have a network card or usb adapter for my notebook to go wireless?

I bought a wireless usb that is wireless internet….but..i could only find three connections which are locked and bad connectivity…i have a notebook that has about like 10 network and some are locked and ok connectivity…wat should i do..or wat device should i buy to improve teh connectivity… i bought a TEW-424UB from J&R…I need help…
