Does anyone know why the new iPad does not include voice memos?

If its in iPhone OS 3.2, why wouldn’t voice memos be included?

voice recognition… I have it, but how do I use it?

I have an hp tablet pc tc1100, kind of a rarer model of computer, (I hate how people think that tablet means pda, and I lost the stylus pen years ago and the tablet functions of it weren’t that great to begin with.) but anyways, I just tried using the voice recognition feature. I did every training exercise there was, but now my question is… what next??? Can I dictate to my computer and get it to type for me, and how exactly do I do that? (It’s hard to find information on that)

p.s. My computer doesn’t have a c.d. drive and it doesn’t have the microsoft office suite (it got heavily reimaged when it was sent in to get repaired). So basically if you have software suggestions, suggest cheap free downloadable things if you can. Thanks!

can anybody help me?

eversince I rebooted my averatec C3500 tablet pc, my pen does not work along with the digital keyboard and voice recognition, i tried downloading it from the averatec website but my computer says i already have it instalded. What do I do?

which is the best pda one can buy, with cam, voice recording, blue tooth, wi fi and still sub 400$?

should have vibratory alert and good battery. phone not required.

Can anyone recommend a really nice external Voice Capable modem?

for use as a sophisticated answering machine and telephone recording device. Preferably one that even allows extraction of Caller ID info (name, number, date and time). I have a notebook so I’d like recommendations for USB, firewire or PCMCIA, though I have previously bought PCI-to-USB & 1394 “Adapters” (aka housings, porters, converters and who knows what else).

Also, can you recommend great answering machine software for the device? I’d like software for detecting if a call is data (FAX exclusively for now) or Voice and directing the call as appropriate. If any of you can recommend any skeleton C code for me to play w/ that’d be awesome too, though I doubt I’ll find time to play like that. I’ll likely only be able to “plug-n-play” (i.e., plug in the device, load the software and that’s it).

And oh…. It’d be really super if it records outgoing call info such as date, time, destination, but most importantly duration to aid in “budgeting.”

Thanks!
