My new laptop’s hard drive capacity is possibly incorrect?

Hi. I recently purchased a Lenovo (IBM) ThinkPad X61 Tablet PC. I chose a hard drive that was 120 GB and 5400RPM. The OS is Windows Vista Business. However, now when I am looking at the “SW_Pleload (C:) Properties” (that equates to “Local Dist (:C)” on Windows XP), it says that the local disk has a capacity of 114,498,203,648 bytes, or 106 GB. What happened to the other 14 GB? This is not the used (nor free) space, this is the entire capacity of Drive C:. Did I get gypped? Or is this supposed to be like this? If you need any more information, just ask, and I’ll tell you.
Thank you.

How do I open an office 2007 file with Office Mac?

I have office 2007 on my Windows XP computer, but I also have an apple iBook. it is running OS X 10.4.9. I have Office Mac on it, and cant open my .doc files on it, because office 2007 changes all the files to .docx. I have changed the file extentions, but that still won’t fix it. do you know of a plug in for it?

Thanks.
